Landscape and Environmental Photography from Scotland
I co-lead 'Autumn Naturescapes' photography weeks for Wildshots. The company, co-owned by Pete Cairns and his partner Amanda, and renowned wildlife photographer Mark Hamblin, offers terrific tuitional holiday opportunities for landscape and nature photographers. Their base, Ballintean, a tastefully converted traditional building, nestles at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains, offering easy access to some spectacular locations. Pete is a very experienced and accomplished photographer in his own right, as well as being an experienced naturalist, and an ever attentive host. I will be a regular fixture co-leading (with Pete) their Autumn landscape and in Winter combined wildlife & landscape weeks. For the more specialist wildlife photographers you can choose from a variety of trips to locations as diverse as Finland and Kenya, mostly led by Mark or Pete, or one of our associate photographers, some of the most accomplished professional wildlife photographers in their individual fields.
I will be leading landscape trips to Utah and Arizona to photograph Canyonlands, Arches and various other sites.
