Light on Calgary Beach, Mull
This is an effect caused by low winter sunlight. The blue colour cast you get in shadows on a clear winter day. The hill behind is in sun and covered with dead bracken which is golden. These warm colours are reflected in the water, as is the deep blue of the winter sky. However where the sun hits the beach the blue cast is gone.
