Evening light on steam train.
Every summer a steam train does daily runs on the Fort William to Mallaig line. I found the train back at its base with the late evening light glistening off its bright metallic surfaces. This gave a far more evocative image than a picture of the full engine.
The picture above shows the whole scene I viewed, but there is a ditch and a fence between me and the train. Using the Canon 35-350 zoom I was able to extract the exact composition I required without physically moving closer. A useful lens!
