White water lilies, Glen Affric
I discovered this little composition on a small black peat stained pond in the forest. A polarising filter removed the surface glare and gave the pads the effect of floating in space. There are water boatmen insects on the pads and the detail at higher magnifications on the original 67 transparency is astonishing.
