Wild light, Loch Leven
A summer afternoon and the sun broke through to create these spectacular 'god beams'. This was a normal sunny day, but careful underexposure has allowed the effect of light on water to show to best advantage. Exposure for this type of shot is fairly easy, simply taking a light reading from a brighter part of the scene, and letting the rest of the tones fall where they will.
