Beinn Eighe in spring snow.
The Beinn Eighe Reserve covers an area of roughly 48 square km. It was the first national Nature Reserve created in the UK, in 1951, and was originally designated to provide protection to the ancient pine woodland west of Kinlochewe village. This picture shows Creag Dhubh (L) and Meall a' Ghiubhais (R). This section will record the changes that occur as spring gives way to summer.
