April 2008 A wee bit of self-indulgence this month.This image was taken from the hills above Clachtoll Beach in Sutherland. This is a magical area, clean seas breaking onto white sand beaches, surrounded by wild empty moorlands and hills. As the sun was setting it glanced across the hillsides and illuminated the distinctive peak of Suilven. If you've never visited this area I urge you to do so.
