Dragonfly

Whilst waiting for a beaver to appear from its lodge in a swampy area beside the Yellowstone River I watched several dragonflies hunting in the evening light. I focused on an open spot between the reeds and waited and waited....and waited and waited...and eventually a dragonfly appeared, hovered for only an instant....but it was all the time I needed to capture it.
