Loch Pityoulish

This small lochan in the Cairngorm National Park was iced over but one lone rock protruded through. The effects of weak sun on the rock has warmed it and allowed it to create an open area around itself. By moving myself relative to the sun I was able to highlight the water and create this very atmospheric image.
