Calum's Road

Calum's Road running 2.5KM from Brochel to Arnish on Raasay was built by Calum MacLeod, a postman, using only a pick and shovel after the local authority refused to do it. It took him almost 10 years. He was awarded the BEM for his efforts. Sadly, Calum died soon after finishing this astonishing feat. More here.
